BMO UltraMarathon "Run For Your Life" : a success

Last Sunday Charlie ran the UltraMarathon in Vancouver and it was a success. He brought the attention to such an important event, he fought so that everyone could know about it and help this great cause. In the end, $20,000 were raised for the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation. I kept on telling it for weeks, but please let me say it one more time: Charlie I'm so proud of you, I'm so proud to had the chance to know such a wonderful person, what you did is priceless and it will help so many people. THANK YOU.

Let's come to the stats and to the photos (all the credits go to CBU, thanks girls for being such a great and reliable source!). So Charlie ran the half marathon in 1:41 and the full in 4:03:50 ranking at the 1508 place. Again, very proud of him!!! Here's our man right after finishing the competitions, million thanks to Brian Webb for sharing these photos through Twitter!

Not only his fans have been encouraging him, but also his friends and colleagues from the Twilight Saga. Surely on Twitter, where everyone spoke about the Marathon, but also phisically in Vancouver (she's so cute!!!)

"Like Crazy, which won the U.S. dramatic grand jury prize at this year's Sundance Film Festival, will bow Oct. 28 in limited release via Paramount Vantage, the studio announced." - source

Yes, you got it right: less than a month before the release of Breaking Dawn part I, the Sundance Film Festival winner movie "Like Crazy" will be on theatres!!!!So let's mark the date in red on our calendars, even if the lucky ones for the moment are going to be the US fans only... still, there may be a chance for the other countries as well, that's what I hope cause I can't wait to see this film!!

There are some news also about another movie where Charlie has a small role, "The First Ride of Wyatt Earp" with Val Kilmer and the wonderful Steven Grayhm, the one thanks to whom we could see some photos from the filming (we posted them in one of the older articles). The movie is finally on IMBD and will be released in 2012.

Personally I thought that after last year, when Charlie attended so many US Cons , in the 2011 his appearances there would have been rarer... obviously I was wrong! Here's a small list of the conventions where you should find him (and once again: why don't I live in the States???), at the moment they're 6 and most of them are in the East zone of the country. Charlie to attend the TwiNight Con in Barcelona

Looks like the Twilight ItaCon2 won't be the only European Twilight convention Charlie will attend in 2011 (still hoping for the RingCon even if they have already announced 6 guests from the saga...): the TwiNight Con in Barcelona was postponed from April to November (5th and 6th November 2011) and together with the already announced Peter Facinelli (Kellan Lutz cancelled it) there will be also our bewleyful man together with Alex Meraz, Noel Fisher, BooBoo Stewart and Guri Weinberg. If you want to attend it, the news are not so good: the best passes are sold out and the ones left are nothing special, above all because for example they don't include a photo with one of the main actors, and considering Charlie's photo-oop costs 40€ and it's the second most expensive... guess? For further information check the official site of the TwiNight Con! I won't deny I would really like to go there but at the moment there's no way I could afford it... anyone of you going? Let us know!

Jocelyn left this world few weeks ago for a cause that is bringing away and/or affects too too many people. Charlie was Jocelyn's friend, thanks to him we've "known" her and her story, we all prayed and suffered for her. Now he gives us the opportunity to help other people, someone who's going through hell the same way Jocelyn did, just by supporting him running an Ultramarathon on May the 1st in Vancouver, in memory of Jocelyn and in support of the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation. Charlie mentioned in an Italian book!!

It's a bit crazy but I felt proud when Serena (thank you!!) wrote me to tell me that Charlie is mentioned in the pages of a brand new Italian novel written by Federica Bosco and called "Innamorata di un angelo" (In love with an angel - in the photo the book cover) where, at pages 65/66 we can read (my translation):

Let me tell you, these are satisfactions!! This author is pretty known in Italy (she sold over 400.000 books) and the fact that she decided to mention Charlie of all the people is just GREAT! Many many thanks to our affiliate CharlieBewleyFP for posting this letter written by Charlie to them for all his fans and fansites. So if someone has to blame him for something (even if I can't understand why someone should complain when he can't tweet often), here's what he has to say. Oh and that's what I have to say: nobody should "forget" he's a PERSON, he has his good and bad moments like any of us, he's great with us all but he has the right to have time for himself and he doesn't deserve any lack of respect because of this. That's my personal opinion.

"The last few month have been crazy. I have had to steady the ship after going home for Christmas and having the pressures of being on set. In many ways, I have had to go inward to source my solace... one of the reasons I have been less present on Twitter.

It has struck me that my productivity has been lacking, and if this was the case, there would be little for my fan base to be excited about. Therefore, I committed to keeping my distance from my usual waist deep approach to my fans, instead concentrating on my creativity as a means of bringing myself to you all. Believe me when I say that this year is going to get very weird for me should my plans be exacted to my intent.

For some reason there have been a massive amount of tweets flooding thru my account and coupled with my not being so present in Twitterverse, I am aware that much has been lost in all the mail.

Because I am so hands-on with fans, any downtimes I may take will always seem like there is an issue, when all it is is me being my introverted self; sometimes, I just like to not talk, to be with myself and shut out the world. If you knew my situation, then you would understand better, but it´s all a defense mechanism.

Great great news from Utah: "Like Crazy" won the prize as best dramatic movie!!! Charlie tweeted about it a few hours ago and we're soooooooooo proud of him!!! CONGRATULATION!!! Here's the statement in the Sundance Film festival official website:

Me and Alessia from CharlieBewleyItalia really want to thank all the people who took part to our bday project for Charlie sending us photos, messages, wallpapers, draws, poems... we received and we're still receiving compliments and it's wonderful to see what you do is appreciated (of course we couldn't do it without our editing genius Carmine and Jason Mann's voice), but please understand us if the message we loved most is from Mr Bewley himself... remember: being a fan of him is great, not only cause he repays you of the love you give him, but cause the people you meet in the process are friends that hopefully will last forever (my EI, all my CB affiliates and friends, you know who you are!). Charlie at PUMA Faaslab Lounge @Sundance

As we can read from Puma's official facebook profile, Charlie was one of the many many actors attending the Sundance Film Festival to stop by at the Faaslab Lounge to take a look at the new training shoes. But being Charlie, taking a look was not enough!

Charlie thinks Mackenzie Foy is a "beautiful little girl"

Marc Malking, one of the most famous journalist of E!, met our Charlie at the Sundance Festival and couldn't help asking him about th sex scene in Breaking Dawn and about Mackenzie Foy, who will play Renesmee. That's what Mr Bewley said:

"I imagine if Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had a kid it'd be like this grungy...awkward and shy kind of thing," jokes Charlie Bewley, who plays Demetri in the vampire movie franchise.
Kidding aside, Bewley called Mackenzie a "beautiful little girl."
"She's a little ball of energy that one," he said.
I caught up with Bewley yesterday at the Sundance Film Festival as he checked out the running shoes in Samsung Galaxy Tab Lift's Puma Lounge. He jetted to Utah from Baton Rouge, where they're filming Breaking Dawn, for the premiere of his upcoming flick Like Crazy.
Bewley insisted he still hadn't seen the Edward and Bella sex scene photo that was recently released by Summit Entertainment.
"It's the sex scene?" he said when asked what he thought of the picture. "Really? They're smashing around?! Shut the front door. I haven't seen it...but I'm definitely going to check it out."

The movie has been officially presented at the Sundance Film Festival and it must have been pretty successful as it's been already sold to Paramout Pictures for 4 millions $, CONGRATULATION!!!

The main actors and the director of the movie (Charlie, Finola Hughes, Felicity Jones, Anton Yelchin and Drake Doremus) had also the time to visit the WireImage Portrait Studio in The Samsung Galaxy Tab Lift for a nice photoshoot, for more photos check out our gallery.

Even if she's not involved in the Twilight Saga, the news made a lot of people happy and excited: Cassandra Clare will attend the Twilight ItaCon2 in Napoli on Saturday, June the 11th. Cassandra is famous worldwide for writing the Mortal Instrument Series and she'll be in Italy for the release of the new chapter of the Saga, Clockwork Angel, in Italian. There will be a special panel for her where she'll reply to her fans' questions, and after that an autograph session. Very soon a special pass for the day of Saturday will be for sell on FantasyEvents site at 50€. We're particularly excited about that as Charlie has been tweeting about City of Bones a few times, and let's not forget soon there'll be the movie adaptation out of it... so fingers crossed!!

Here's what happened: Charlie, as well as other known artists (singers, musicians, actors, etc.) created a logo for the John Langdon Down foundation. This foundation helps people affected by the Down Syndrome and their families. Very very noble of you Charlie. This past weekend Charlie Bewley attended the last Official Twilight Convention of 2010 in Orlando Florida. Luckily enough myself and Andrea (AlcheMystic) were able to attend! Charlie was only scheduled to be at the convention for Saturday the 11th, but to the best of my knowledge he flew in the 10th and stayed through the 13th enjoying some of the many theme parks Orlando has to offer such as the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. He even posted pics^-^

The day he attended the convention was absolutely EPIC! I have been to a few of his other cons and I must say this one was truly by far the best! Why was it the best? The energy there was so amazing and also because I got to start my day with Charlie, see him throughout that day and end it with him.

At 9:30am I attended the meet and greet with Charlie and the equally charming Daniel Cudmore. Topics of discussing ranged from Charlie's hatred of X Factor (trust me don't get him started on that subject), nakedness being the perfect disguise, the fact that Johnny Depp has a GIANT ship (Dan thought I was taking that the wrong way and had to justify what he was saying) and how Charlie enjoys Hardstyle DJ music. He said "I love Hardstyle! It's amazing! I can just feel it."...take that anyway you want. I know I did^-^ General goofing off went on like Dan stealing my glasses and teasing me for having to reach up so high to touch his head. Also Charlie fiddling with the nasty mints on the table and showing us some pics on his phone of him and his friends segway-ing. I did get two amazing pics with the guys though at the end of the meeting and I got to play Charlie the ringtone that Cory made from the sound bite of him saying sex is a fantastic thing. In doing this he saw the background of my phone which is a particular shot of him and Charlie jokingly called me a creeper...or at least I hope he was joking^-^

Charlie was also super amazing and gave myself and Andrea a minute of his time to speak with us and sign some things for the site! How amazing in he?! I couldn't believe it. Here he was, full day scheduled at a convention and he takes the time to do something for one of his fansites. One that just launched none the less! He also kept congratulating me on the site and when I asked him why because the site's for him he said, "But you put work into it so congrats." He also asked who wrote the bio on our site because... As some of you probably knew, for the release of Eclipse dvd FantasyEvents organized a party to celebrate the big event. Unfortunately I coulnd't attend it, but many of my friends did and they had a great time, as usual! It's been a perfect evening to meet new people and old friends, a perfect evening to remember what happened during the first wonderful ItaCon of last May in Rome.That's why the staff decided to create a photobook collecting all the best memories of the fans. As Charlie pointed out through his Twitter yesterday, there's a really great news: "Like Crazy" is one of the movies picked for the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, which will be in Utah from the 20th to the 30th of January. "Like crazy" is listed together with other 15 films in the cathegory U.S. dramatic, here's what's written on the official website of the Festival:

Like Crazy (Director: Drake Doremus; Screenwriters: Drake Doremus and Ben York Jones) - A young American guy and a young British girl meet in college and fall in love. News of the day (thanks to my fave French girls Marie and Margaux for telling me!): Charlie will take part, together with Chaske Spencer and Michael Welch, to the Mediterranean TwiCruise next June! It's the first time the cruise will be in the Mediterranean sea (the first and only one was in the US) and it'll stop in Italy, France, Spain and Tunisia. You'd think "what a luck" for the European fans... well, not so much... the cruise is pretty expensive and there's no way I'll have the chance to be there as well, but hopefully we'll have many photos and stories from the ones who will!! There are many many many things about our man in Mexico, I'll try to do my best and put them together in the same post!The reason why he was there was a Halloween convention, where he was one of the guests together with the "wolf" and his great friend (you'll see it also in the RingCon interview we did, stay tuned!) The time has almost come and I can't wait anymore :D I'm talking of the RingCon* of course!! As you know, I'll be there (even if just for one day,sigh) together with the "home-team" Charlie Bewley Germany and also Charlie Bewley Italia (hopefully there will be someone else too... *_* ). We talked a lot during this last period and we all got messages from people who will attend the convention and would like to meet us. As you know the Con is going to be pretty crowded, so what's the easier way to shout "HEY, I'M ONE OF CHARLIE'S FANS" ...or better, Charlie's Angels? Here it is: we created (or better, Federica did the amazing job) these badges for you! You can print the one with the flag of your country or with the European flag (sorry we didn't do more, but time was running out), write on your name and wear it, so if we meet we'll both know who we are :D Hope you like the idea and I'm looking forward of seeing many of you with it!! Fantasy Events at Romics 2010

Charlie Bewley:

Melanie B... You were not my favourite Spice Girl. Geri was. I'm sorry, it's not a race thing, I just had a thing for gingers. Like a "dare-to-go-there" mentality.

The year was going ok, work had been tight since Eclipse wrapped, but I was shooting for the moon in my defense, physically and metaphorically. Next thing I know I'm in the Ukraine, Crimea to be exact and the co-lead villain in this cute take on that old chestnut, "Soldiers of Fortune"...

And there I was amongst such prestigious company as Bean, Monaghan, Rhames, Slater, Cromwell, Rodriguez, ya ya yaaaaaaada doing my worst. I dunno, it might be quite good judging from the amount the Russians are throwing behind it.

Story centers on a bunch of vigilante billionaires going all out to free a island. The twist is so epic that I cannot divulge any more that... Think Fight Club on roids. What? I didn't say nuffin...!

Charlie's first set photo in Slightly single in LA

Useless to say that for this last news of the day we have to thank once again our affiliate CharlieBewleyGermany :D Maybe some of you read that Charlie was supposed to have a role in a new movie called "Slightly single in LA", with Haylie Duff, Lacey Chabert, Jonathan Bennett and Kip Pardue (I have to say it, I absolutely adore Kip Pardue since the movie "Remember the Titans, so I'm super excited!!!). No real evidence about it, just Charlie's name on IMDB. But finally there's the first picture from the set showing he's really part of it :D So thanks Jenny Karl Hair and Makeup (Los Angeles) for posting it on their facebook page!
